Verification Categories & Review Criteria

1. Identity Verification

Providers upload government-issued photo identification (driver’s license or passport). We cross-reference the name against public record databases to confirm personhood. This confirms legal identity, not caregiving competence.

2. Professional Licensure & State Certification

For roles claiming Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or therapy credentials, we verify license numbers directly with the appropriate state licensing board registry.

3. Training & CPR Credentials

We verify course completion certificates from recognized organizations (American Heart Association, Red Cross). Every verified credential displays its verification date and expiration date.

4. Insurance & Bonding

Agencies and independent providers claiming insurance submit Certificates of Insurance (COI). We confirm policy dates and policyholder names.

5. Background Check Reporting

Providers submit completed screening reports. We display the screening agency, report date, and scope checked. We do not re-run checks without separate authorization.
